Hugo Ruiz-Mireles

Third year of CS at CSUMB with an interest in contributing to many fields with my knowledge of computational and algorithmic theory.

Through the NHGRI-funded GREAT Scholars program, I will work in Dr. Benedict Paten's lab at the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute, bringing optimizations to genome graph tooling.
